Children’s Aid and Family Services Annual Spring Gala to Recognize

The Honorable Gurbir S. Grewal

(Paramus, NJ) March 4, 2020 – Children’s Aid and Family Services is set to recognize The Honorable Gurbir S. Grewal at its Spring Gala, Denim and Diamonds, on March 26, 2020 at Seasons in Washington Township. Along with Grewal, KPMG will also be honored for its commitment and dedication to the agency and the community it serves.

Grewal has been an important supporter of recovery support services, such as the Opioid Overdose Recovery Program (OORP). Launched in 2017 by The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources, a program of Children’s Aid and Family Services, OORP utilizes Recovery Specialists to provide peer support for survivors of overdoses. Grewal has successfully worked with community partners such as Children’s Aid and Family Services to help fight opioid addiction throughout the state. KPMG is being recognized for years of continued support for the agency through donations and volunteer projects organized by its employees.
